Constipation is a bowel movement that is infrequent or hard to pass or the sensation of incomplete bowel evacuation. Most of the time constipation results as a side effect of a medication or other illness. It’s therefore advisable to check the side effects of medications. If your medication and food are contributing to constipation, you should try to avoid them for good.

Heed natures call and in case you have constipation and have gone for a long call, squat over the toilet. Don’t hold longer natures call. When your body signals you, should heed it immediately. Last but not the least, is to have some drinks such as coffee. Caffeine is a natural stimulant for the digestive system. Coffee is a diuretic and makes you urinate more frequently but shouldn’t be drank in excess as it dehydrates our bodies. This leads to constipation.
